Dedicated to my dear brother in spirit James Rooney

My sorrow has been so strong and deep that it has taken me a while to write this about Jim. I may regard individuals as close friends but Jim has always been as an older brother to me. We have known each other for many years, as well as his wife Kyoko and their two daughters. Jim was legally blind but most individuals were not able to notice. On many occasions I would walk with Jim and we would have wonderful conversations. Any conversation with Jim became a wealth of knowledge but mostly it was the way his words would touch your soul. It was amazing how a man who was considered legally blind was able to show me how to truly see. Jim has passed away but is so much still alive in many of those he was close to in life. Thank you for showing all of us how to truly walk, listen, comprehend, and to really see in our hearts, thoughts, mind, and spirit.
