The Kita Yama School of Classical Japanese Martial Arts opened in Phoenix in 1994 on 19th Avenue near Peoria Avenue, and moved to Northcentral Phoenix in 1996. "The Kita Yama School of Classical Japanese Martial Arts" is a registered DBA name in the State of Arizona. We are a branch dojo of the classical tradition Kaze Arashi Ryu, with supervision by fully licensed (menkyokaiden) instructor. We are recognized within that tradition as the Kita Yama Dojo.
